A homeowner got a rough early-morning awakening when a neighbor escalated a minor snow-clearing delay into an early-morning confrontation and threatened over a shared road that isn't legally the homeowner's responsibility

Shakespeare loved to include how natural phenomena were reflective of real issues and malcontent in the people. And I think this holds true. Most certainly, it does always seem like wild weather brings out the most wild nature in us.

There's something about a snowstorm that really just sends people over the edge, the unpredictability of it all, one second you're driving in a straight line and the next your car is sliding uncontrollably off the road. And that wet, damp weight of the snow just makes life feel somehow… heavier? Especially when you have a job to get to to make ends meet.

A lot of people are operating at the end of their rope, and it doesn't take much for them to lose hold. Sometimes people just need someone to blame too, and if you might find yourself on the receiving end of blame that isn't yours to shoulder, but has nowhere else to go.

Still, there's a way to act and a way not to, especially when it comes to our relationships with our neighbors and our interactions in society.
This homeowner was startlingly awoken to their angry neighbor knocking on their door in the early hours of the morning, demanding that they come out and clear the shared common road that ran from their houses out to the main road. The problem was that it wasn't the homeowners' responsibility to clear it in the first place, and the portion immediately in front of their house, the yellowed tiled portion seen in the photo they shared, had already been cleared. Plus, the snowfall had happened overnight, so even if there was snow to clear, it's not like anyone had had the chance to do so yet. Overall, this seems like an over-the-top reaction, and living near these types of neighbors can be challenging, even when you live in a rural area, and there is a great distance between your houses; they somehow always find a way to create a problem.
